The muse came to me today with the contemplative thought of what the difference is between “horse shit” and “bull shit.” On a purely sensory basis there is a distinct difference in the aroma that each one produces.
However, the reference of which I am thinking is relative to the colloquial expression in response to something that one hears from a person making a statement that is apparently false. In this scenario the recipient of that false statement responds with the exclamatory statement; “That is a bunch of horse shit or That is a bunch of bull shit.” In this context I wonder; is there a discernable difference in the meaning of either statement?
As we used to say around the neighborhood when I was a young lad expressing some contemplative thought; “That is some deep shit.”

What is there to say about me? I am not sure if I am typical or not, average or not, smart or not, BUT I think I definitely have a sense of humor. I am an aging baby boomer wondering if I have something to say about the world as I see it.
