Sentences using a word a day for the week of 12/16/2018

Words for the week: Vitiate, epitome, millefleur, tchotchke, frenetic, solstice, compendious:

It is a curious fact that one component of a large entity can serve as a negative catalyst and vitiate an entire process, institution, system, or viable being and bring it to a state of complete incapacity and worthlessness.  Or as the old colloquial statement summarizes, “one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.”

Every now and again there comes along a character who is the epitome of the colloquial meme of a rotten apple despite trying to hide behind a millefleur tchotchke.

The afflicted components’ frenetic response to the rottenness that has been foisted upon them usually only begins to resolve the issue once the situation has reached its solstice. The unfortunate aspect of these types of dilemmas is that those affected by the morass of the rotten apple have short term memories and fail to reflect upon a compendious review of the nature of the malady.  Consequently we suffer from another scenario that is described by the colloquial statement of; “history repeats itself.”

What is there to say about me? I am not sure if I am typical or not, average or not, smart or not, BUT I think I definitely have a sense of humor. I am an aging baby boomer wondering if I have something to say about the world as I see it.
