One of life’s difficult decisions that I have encountered over the years is when to finally dispose of that jar or bottle of condiments. Again perhaps it is the thought of HOPE that keeps me from tossing that item with its last bits of residue clinging to the sides. I keep thinking I can get one more sandwich, one more salad, one more squeeze of a tasty treat out of it.
The same quandary plagues me in the bathroom with one more squeeze of toothpaste, one more squirt of shave cream, one more shampoo, one more good lather from that bar of soap, and so forth.
As I dwell upon this thought of emptiness, there is one vessel that never empties. My heart never empties and is forever being filled with wonderful loving thoughts of those dear to me. I must admit that at this point I don’t think I can squeeze one more sentence out of this narrative.

What is there to say about me? I am not sure if I am typical or not, average or not, smart or not, BUT I think I definitely have a sense of humor. I am an aging baby boomer wondering if I have something to say about the world as I see it.
